Troubleshooting posts

The most common reasons posts get stuck, fail to publish, or look wrong — and how to fix each one.

"My posts are stuck in Pending"

Pending posts wait for your approval indefinitely. There is no auto-approval threshold — the only way to skip the Pending step is to enable Auto Pilot on the post's category. New posts created after that flip directly to Approved.

"Approved posts are not publishing"

If you approved a post but nothing is happening, walk through this list:

  1. Are you using manual or automatic publishing? Approving a post does not publish it — you still need to click Publish, or have Scheduling enabled on the category.
  2. Is Scheduling enabled on the category? Open Posts → Settings → Scheduling and check the toggle.
  3. Has the daily window opened? The scheduler only publishes between the start and end times you set. Outside the window, posts wait.
  4. Are there available slots? If every slot in the window is already occupied by other scheduled posts, the new post waits for the next free slot.
  5. Is the destination group connected? Open Groups; a disconnected group cannot receive posts. Re-authenticate Telegram, WhatsApp, Facebook, Pinterest, or Instagram if needed.
  6. Are you out of AI credits? Some publish steps (translation, variant selection) consume credits. Check your remaining balance in the user menu.

"The AI wrote the post in the wrong language"

Open Posts → Settings → Locale for the post's category and confirm Content language matches your audience. Existing posts use the language they were created with — the new setting only affects future posts. Note: posts published to groups with a different locale get translated automatically at publish time, so the post body in your editor may not match what the group actually receives.

"The tracking link does not track"

Tracking only kicks in when both of these are true:

  • Enable tracking is on in Posts → Settings → Tracking for the category.
  • The destination group has tracking configured.

Without both, the post still publishes — but with the marketplace's plain affiliate link instead of your trackable one. Conversions will still pay out the commission; they just will not be attributed back to a specific post in Reports → Post Tracking.

"The tracking link returns 404"

Tracking links pass through AliExpress's or Amazon's redirect. A 404 almost always means the underlying product was removed from the marketplace. Open the post, click the product link manually to confirm — if the product is gone, reject the post so it stops trying to publish.

"Out of AI credits"

Each post creation costs 1 credit, plus 1 credit per generated variant. If you create heavily, raise the variant count cautiously — turning Variations from 0 to 5 multiplies your per-post credit cost by 6×. The user menu shows your remaining balance.

"Variants keep repeating"

Afflow rotates variants per group, balancing usage and avoiding the most recently used one. If you only have 1 or 2 variants, repetition is unavoidable. Increase the variant count under Posts → Settings → Variations for more diversity.
