• Analytics: Google Analytics, Hotjar, or similar tools track user behavior.

11. Afflow Chrome Extension – Additional Privacy Notice

This section explains how the Afflow Chrome Extension ("Extension") handles data, in accordance with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy.

11.1 Data the Extension Collects

The Extension only runs on specific AliExpress product pages and processes the data required to:

• Read product details from the AliExpress product page you are currently viewing
• Allow you to send that product into your Afflow system
• Generate affiliate links and product metadata
• Interact with affiliate APIs using the credentials you provide inside your Afflow account

No browsing history, cross-site tracking, or unrelated page data is collected.

11.2 How Extension Data Is Used

Data processed by the Extension is used solely for core functionality, including:

• Sending product-related queries to Afflow servers or affiliate APIs
• Displaying results within the extension
• Enabling user authentication with Afflow (if applicable)

We do not use Extension-collected data for:

• Advertising
• Profiling
• Selling user data

11.3 Data Storage

The Extension may store the following locally on your device:

• User preferences
• Authentication tokens (if logged in)

This information never leaves your browser unless required to perform the feature you are using (for example: sending a product query to an affiliate API).

11.4 Data Sharing

The Extension does not transmit any personal information to third parties.

The only data shared externally is:

• API requests sent to Afflow or affiliate networks
• Search queries required to generate affiliate links

No personally identifiable information is included in these requests.

11.5 Permissions

The Extension requires certain Chrome permissions to operate. These permissions are used only for the described functionality and not for any unrelated purposes.

Examples:

• "storage" – used to save user settings and authentication tokens locally in your browser.
• "activeTab" – used (if enabled) to interact with the currently active AliExpress product tab when you click the extension button.
• "scripting" – used to inject scripts or styles into AliExpress product pages in order to extract product information and display the Afflow interface.

We do not use these permissions to collect unrelated data, track your browsing history, or monitor your activity across websites.

11.6 Compliance With the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy

We comply fully with:

• The Limited Use policy
• The User Data Privacy requirements
• Restrictions on handling sensitive user information

We do not:

• Sell user data
• Share data for advertising
• Use data for purposes unrelated to the extension's features

If future versions require new permissions, we will notify users clearly.
